I put lots of miles on my vehicles and my 25k miles on my JT were nice but after test driving JL rubi with 2.0.....I was sold. The JL Rubi , skytop and 2.0 turbo.....is butter. The turbo moves the Rubi so much better and I guess losing the extra weight of the JT also makes a diff. Maybe I...
I have a max tow and I swear it struggles to get going....Its like the engine has no torque. I test drove a JL rubi with the 4cly turbo and wow.....it moves effortlessly. I may switch back to the JL for the turbo and the sky top.
Not a newbie....I've had several jeeps....I'm use to it. I guess what I'm saying....are the solid axles needed? Its 2022 and our jeeps still ride like Jolopees at 70-75mph.
There is lots of positives in this thread about road trips but driving faster then 70mph is where things get exhausting. Having to correct steering and the feeling like the truck is being attacked by the wind demons. The rig never feels stable on the freeway.. I drove the new bronco with 35s...
I agree.....this engine is gutless. No toque!!! If 90 percent of your customers will put on fat tires then why not put something stronger under the hood. They are lucky Ford didn't make the bronco truck....game over.
What am I missing here......if my gladiator moved like that Ram did....i would be really happy. The engine feels way stronger and smoother. Why wouldn't they do the same for JL and JT. The Ram didn't sound like the engine was going to fly out of the hood either.
32 psi, E, They just don't seem to ride evenly....so they feel wobbly. Extremely stiff....I had ridges on on my JL.....hated them. Either way....im sticking with the 33 inch tires. If you go 33....don't lift because it makes them look little.....also choose aftermarket wheel that pushes 33...
The Falken Mts have been put on and its Night and Day. Love driving my JT now.....The Ridge Grapplers were like riding on wheels made of stone. The MTs are quite and very smooth......my JT moves effortlessly now.
Im getting rid of my 35 ridge grapplers......I drive to much on the freeway and I don't like how they ride. I was on the phone with my local Discount tire and they had some new but used Falken MTs.....they came off of Rubi. Crazy cheap. They are C rated I believe (285/70/17)....they have...
