  1. Mopar vs AEV spacer lift?

I was in a similar situation as you. I daily my JT and didn't want to go as big as I did on my JK (or run E-rated tires). Wanted to stay around 2", but most of the 2.5 kits are well over 3". I used the MOPAR kit with MetalCloak brackets + track bar on 285/75R17 Toyo Open Countries. Feel like...
  2. Tailights going out while driving + general weirdness

Running into some weird lighting issues. At first, I was just noticing my front lights suddenly change in brightness? or mode? I'm not sure how to describe it. It's similar to switching high beams on in terms of speed but less drastic visually. It was hard to tell at first, and I thought I was...
  3. Missouri 5 Like New Tires & Wheels with TPMS $600

My bad, sold these on Marketplace a while back and forgot to update.
  4. An idiot's guide to Auto High Beams

Ha, yes. Like 40 times. That's what was throwing me off. Even if Auto High Beams are turned off, you still can't toggle the high beams on if the knob is on Auto. It would only let me toggle high beams after I turned Auto off on the knob.
  5. An idiot's guide to Auto High Beams

It's me. I'm the idiot. Figured I'd share to remind folks since the days are getting shorter. TL/DR: If you have Auto High Beams and want to toggle your brights on and off manually while driving slowly, turn the lighting knob below OFF of Auto. Gotta be smarter than the Jeep. Was driving...
  6. Side Step Bars

I really like MetalCloak's solution. It's set up in two parts. First you install the rock rail, then the flip step is installed in one of two positions. I have it in the low/slanted position here for everyday driving and ease of entry. It can also be flipped up so that it provides a flat step at...
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

MetalCloak's step/slider is pretty beefy. Plus, the wife and toddler can still climb in by themselves.
  8. Let's see your 285/75 17 tires

Thanks! I tried hard to find my ideal perfect combo. I didn't want to go with a lift larger than 3" or move up to a 35"/E rated tire. This was the right balance for me and should do everything I need it to do. There should be more pics in my build thread if you want different angles.
  9. Let's see your 285/75 17 tires

285/75 17 Toyo Open Country ATIII C on AEV Saltas w/ 2" Mopar
  10. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Added the new Teraflex antenna. Was back-ordered when I bought it, but shipped the next day.
  11. Vrael's 22 Hydro Blue Sport S

Thank you! A frame-built bumper might end up on this page if I'm not careful.
  12. Missouri Sold: 5 Like New Tires & Wheels with TPMS $600

  13. Vrael's 22 Hydro Blue Sport S

Whoops, that was a lie. Better late than never. MOPAR lift + new front trackbar was relatively easy to put on. The only thing that really gave me an issue was the sway bar links. Good to go. Got it aligned and the caster is pretty high. I've been meaning to look into that, but it's...
  14. Bumper Analysis Paralysis! HELP!

I ran LOD's Signature Mid-Width on my JKU and the quality of the welds, powder coat and install was 10/10. Would def recommend it.
  15. Is this supposed to clunk?

Well shoot, that's interesting I guess. Almost thought I had an excuse to upgrade. I'll keep an eye on it still. Appreciate it!
  16. Is this supposed to clunk?

Only 8k miles, so I hope it's not already going bad. Found it while retorquing the upper sway bar link right above it.
  17. lifting my max tow

People are generally cautioned away from Rough Country, although the price of their kits can be very tempting. For my Max Tow, I ended up going 2" MOPAR with Metal Cloak trackbar and control arm drop brackets. I was very close to choosing the AEV 2" spacer lift though. It sounds like that might...
  18. Altitude vs. Sport S ...

Just an FYI to avoid confusion, he's talking about the Sport-level Altitude package, not the High Altitude which is slightly different.
  19. Altitude vs. Sport S ...

If you want Max Tow, you cannot get the Altitude. I along with some other folks on the forum attempted to order the Altitude w/ Max Tow but we were told by our dealers that their system would not allow the Max Tow package to be added. The online system allowed us to build it that way and it...
