Would love to see a build thread on the SC. I’m on the fence between leaving it stock, SC, or adding a V8. I’m hoping as the next generation of Jeep comes out the cost to swap a V8 in the JL will become cheaper. With Dakota customs gone trying to do an affordable swap seems impossible.

The way I could tell my engine had a bad cam, is that I could hear it inside the cab. I get worried every time I hear the normal engine tick from the injectors, but once I close the door its hard to hear unless you are really listening for it. With the bad cam you didn't have to try, it was there.

I was against the redesign of the 24s, the lighter color dash is horrible, but I looked at trading in my Mojave for a 24 JLU Rubicon yesterday day. I really liked it after driving it. The deal didn’t workout, but now I am totally open to the 24 design. Still don’t really care for the bigger...

Any update on this? I know Dakota Customs has a way to connect the Body harness from a Gpec5 to a gpec2 for a Hemi swap. N2 speed also say they can add a Vin to a gpec2.

They just had one last week for badlands products, but you needed to have the insider track membership, everyone else got 20%. I have the winch so I picked up there badlands jack.

It’s a gladiator boat, and what I’m most annoyed by is the 6x6 on the windshield.

$45k base price tag has me intrigued, my wife's 4xe lease is coming up and this might be the way to go. She loves jeeps though, I just don't love the $70k prices tags that I cant afford.

Weather tech looks OEM, but ROKBLOKZ are better if you rock crawl. ROKBLOKZ look ugly to me which is why I went with Weather tech.

My parents had a LR4, the cost to replace that windshield cost an arm and a leg. I'm sure the cost for the 24 jeeps with just the antenna mounted on the windshield will cost more than that, now imagine if it had a heated windshield. People would probably just sell it and buy a new car.

22k and my engine had eaten a cam shaft. No codes but I could hear the chatter in the cab. Luckily the engine tech at my dealership believed me when I said there was a problem, and they replaced the shaft in three days.

Have you looked into artecs sway bar brackets, that work with rock jock components. It puts the sway bar underneath the frame so that would give you more down travel I would believe?

I think 2021 is the best year. You can add a supercharger, and it has the controls for the interior lighting, and dash lighting separate before they made it one control in 2023. **Edited my post from 2022 to 2021 because I forgot about the ECU change.

For everyone that wanted a 2 door JT, looks like some guys made it happen. They converted a 392 into a single cab JT.

Finally some competition for rock Krawler’s triangulated 4 link, I was hoping Clayton would make a kit. I was going to purchase RK pro x upgrade for Black Friday but Northridge jacked up the price on it.
