Agree with what others have said. Take it apart, clean it up and put some protectant on it. DeoxIt makes a great brush on protectant. I have it on my battery, winch, winch cut off switch and switch panel circuit breaker. Doesn’t dry out and easy to reapply. https://a.co/d/0fdh4Ydq

I’ve used these many times. 3m adhesive remover wheel. Works great for decal removal and double sided foam tape you have. Won’t hurt your clear coat, just don’t hold it on a single spot for an extended period. https://a.co/d/0c6ysowJ

I’ve had a catch can on since my last oil change. No more rough idle or low RPM since plug change.

My map was oily as well. Cleaned and put back in.

I used parts from Benny @AllMoparParts.com. They were Champion plugs.

Recently noticed an intermittent rough idle and pinging at low RPM light throttle. Replaced plugs, PCV & belt. #6 had some build up and others looked good. 2020 with 50k miles.

Upper mount on axle, MC bracket should be on the outside of the outer axle bracket and MC bracket should be on the inside of the inner axle bracket. The lower mounts the MC bracket should be in the outside of both axle mounts.

U joint only for now and then RCVs in the very near future.

Out wheeling today and while climbing an obstacle I heard the dreaded pop from the front end. Got out to see one of the ears of the LF u joint snapped. Tear down started for parts delivery on Tuesday.

Clearanced the M.O.R.E. engine skid more at the crossover pipe. Had to clearance originally during initial install but always had a rattle when I’d hit large bumps.

Remove the FAD. This had to come off anyway to get access to weld the truss above and infront of it. Fiberglass welding blanket wrapped around brake hose and abs cables when welding in that area.

Yes Mig, ER70S-6 0.035” wire, C25 gas.

No worries about burning through the tube. Pre heat the housing with map gas to get good penetration and then post heat so the welds don’t crack cooling.

Yeah. Installing while axle is in the vehicle makes it difficult to get a good torch angle in places and getting my head in there with a helmet laying on my back makes for a sore neck after. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve welded regularly and a got a new welder a couple months ago...
