Thanks guys. The swap took all of about 10 minutes. The part that took longer was getting the unlock code, which was just a matter of finding a responsive person on Ebay. Once I did that, I was able to get the unlock code in just a few minutes.
Thanks, Thunderspud. That's actually the website where I checked it before, and it said there were no updates. That may in fact be the case, but I find it hard to believe. I was reading on a wrangler forum where people were discussing multiple different versions for this radio.
I have the notoriously bad 5" uconnect 3 in my 2020 gladiator sport. I had a friend with similar issues suggest that I need a software update, but when I visit the website and enter my vin, it tells me there are no updates available. I've been through probably hundreds of forum posts reading...
Good point. I need to get new tires soon anyways, but I kinda want to stick with 35s. Going with the stock Rubi suspension sounds like a good idea on paper, but the more I think about it, the more I start to think it isn't my best option.
In case anybody cares, here's the broken relocation bracket on my Jeep, and the link that RC gave me to the installation instructions for that lift kit.

This is awesome information! Thanks so much. I'm actually chatting with RC support at the moment, and it sounds like they're going to ship me out replacement brackets at no charge, despite the fact that I am not the original owner, and the warranty is non-transferrable. I'm probably going to do...
I believe this is the lift kit that is installed. I'm not sure what all would have been replaced other than the parts mentioned in the sale posting that would change the geometry. A lot of these parts just appear to be relocation brackets to correct geometry, and those could simply be removed...
I have a 2020 Gladiator Sport that I purchased used. The previous owner installed a Rough Country lift kit on it. I think it's the 6" one. It's been fun, but from the time I bought the Jeep, I planned on scaling it back a bit and hopefully making it a little more durable and improve handling...
I grew up in the middle of the woods in the Hot Springs area, on land that my great-great-grandfather homesteaded, and my parents had this happen on *their property*. People found a nice spot and tried to stake a claim, without realizing they were trespassing on private property. Growing up, I...
I'm late to the party, but if you're back in the area, I've heard good things about the Gulches off road park (https://www.gulchesorvpark.com/) and Gorges State Park (https://www.ncparks.gov/state-parks/gorges-state-park). I haven't been to either yet, but hopefully that will change soon.
Picked up a new (to me) 2020 Gladiator on Friday. Love the gator paint, but was especially excited to find one with the 6 speed manual. It has 35" M/T tires, and a Rough Country lift that is definitely bigger than I would have put on it, but it's growing on me. I'm guessing it's around 6".
