  1. Question: 33s on Stock Willys

I run 285/75r17's (34's) and have 2" of levelling. And that's only because I have a winch on the front. Before the winch, 1.5" of leveling was fine for me. I don't think you will need any levelling for 33's.
  2. Another winch in a plastic bumper.

I bolted the fairlead mount to the bumper and fairlead and tightened everything prior to reinstalling the bumper.
  3. Suggestions for side steps

I did the same. I'm not a rock crawler either. For daily use and light trails, I love mine. Money well spent!
  4. Tire size

Here's my Willys Sport with 285/75R17's, Teraflex 1.5" leveling pucks on the front, with 1.75" wheel spacers (for a little poke). You can omit the leveling kit and wheel spacers if you like. You should have the same axles I do. 305/70R17's should work, as well.
  5. 305/70/17 Tires

Well, 35's don't fit so well on a Sport with 3.73 gears and no lift.
  6. Biggest tires for JTS?

Yes. I'm not as avid of an offroader as I was when I was younger, but I have flexed it and have no rubbing with my current setup.
  7. Biggest tires for JTS?

You can. I'm running 285/75r17's. I did use the TeraFlex 1.5 levelling kit for the front to lose the rake and added 1.75 wheel spacers (for a little more "poke".)
  8. Looking for safe for gladiator? Under seat?or out or site holster for hand gungun ?

Here's an inexpensive solution. I clip an "inside the pants" holster in the storage slot on the back of the front passenger's seat for my pistol, should I need it quickly. For storage, I put it behind the lockable rear seatback.
  9. Tacoma Breaks Down on Trail

    He is. :jk:
  10. Sport S stock wheel tire recs, please.

I, too, went with 285/75r17 tires (34"). Also, 305/70r17's (34") look good. They won't kill your mileage, either!
  11. Tacoma Breaks Down on Trail

    Wheeling hard???
  12. Adding Leveling Kit, need tire and wheel help

With 35 x12.5 tires, you will probably rub the lower control arms at full lock without wheel spacers. You may be able to live with 35's with 3.73 gears, but it will be a bit sluggish and you will take a pretty good hit on mpg's. It just wasn't a good choice for ME. A friend of mine went with...
  13. Adding Leveling Kit, need tire and wheel help

I reread and saw that you had the max tow package. That means 4.10 gears and wider axles (like the Rubicon). If that is the case...35's, hands down with the Teraflex leveller. Good luck with your decision. :jk:
  14. Adding Leveling Kit, need tire and wheel help

My Willys with TeraFlex levelling kit and 34's. I added 1.75" wheel spacers for a little "poke". If you have 4.10 gears, I'd do 35's.
  15. Adding Leveling Kit, need tire and wheel help

285/75r17's (34's) are a good compromise between 33's and 35's and are better with 3.73 gears than 35's.
  16. Looking for daily driver tire recommendations

I went with Patagonia XT's as well. So far, I really like them. I second that they are great in snow.
  17. Another winch in a plastic bumper.

I had to use the supplied LOD spacers, but my winch was a Warn EVO 10S.
  18. 22 Gladiator Altitude Rear Locker

When the clutches in my Trac Lok wear out, that's exactly what I plan to do. Maybe add one in the front as well.
  19. Bed covers recommendations?

Check out Ebay. Prices start from around $120. I got a roll-up from TopSun Auto on Ebay for about $150. It has aluminum latches instead of plastic. I'm pretty happy with it. To me, many brands are overpriced for what you get.
  20. Another winch in a plastic bumper.

I used a Dremel with a small cutting disc and sanded the cuts with 120 grit sandpaper and a file.
