  1. Can steering wheel play be reduced/eliminated?

My 2018 was terrible from the factory. Dual steering stabilizer helped. Much better after steering box adjustment. As others have said, sneak up on it with very fine adjustments.
  2. 3Wliners floor liners mats - review plus Black Friday Giveaway

I bought a set for my F350. They are much nicer/better than the Weathertech that I put in my wife’s Tahoe and cost a lot less.
  3. Cost of new 3.6

There was another post where a guy was quoted $5,200 to repair a blown head gasket. I’d definitely go another $2,300 and get a whole new motor with a warranty.
  4. First time Jeep owner! ‘25 Gladiator Rubicon

Had the soft top. Didn’t care for it. Switched to a hardtop with the Sunrider. Something you may want to consider.
  5. Trading in Frontier for a Gladiator. Good idea?

Congrats. Jeeps are the worst riding, worst handling vehicle you will ever own……and you will love it anyway.
  6. Warning lights after Katzkin install

If it’s headroom you need, you can pick up quite a bit by removing the plastic trim from the soundbar.
  7. Mopar Ducks.

I’ve been ducked a few times. They go right in the trash. The woman that started it died. This trend should die also.
  8. Dealership Employees

A friend of mine retired from doing HVAC work. He very shortly thereafter sold or gave away all of his equipment so people would stop asking him to fix things. If your toolbox weighs less when you leave, that might work in your favor.
  9. Dealership Service Questionable?

My JKU had the transmission replaced under warranty. 6 speed. When I went to pick it up, the front driveshaft wasn’t even connected to the front axle. It was hanging about 3” above the pavement. If I hadn’t noticed it, it may have killed me. People never do what you expect, only what you inspect.
  10. PSA...Check your trailer tires...

What amazes me is the number of people who will spend $100k on a boat or camper and not have a spare tire. Makes me laugh when I see them on the side of the interstate scratching their heads.
  11. We’re screwed! [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS. MEMBERS BANNED]

Couple of my friends talked me into an F350 Platinum. Thought to myself as I started driving home from the dealer “Well this is about the stupidest waste of money ever” …..then I turned on the massaging seats. Life changing. I should note that after my hip replacement my right buttocks and back...
  12. 3Wliners Floor Mats Review.

I bought the Weathertech for my wife’s Tahoe and the 3W for my Superduty. The 3W are far better and half the price.
  13. Yes or go

You are paying full retail price for tires and rims that you wouldn’t buy if it wasn’t for the payment plan. I don’t see the logic in that. I’ve bought a lot of rim and tire sets over the years. Used equals half of retail at the most.
  14. Thoughts after Two Months of Ownership

I average 15.3 on my Rubicon with 4.10 gears. Stock tires and I drive very easy. My 2018 JKU with 6 speed and 3.73 gears averaged 18 - 19. Very disappointing economy on the JT. I average 18.5 in my F350 crew cab diesel. Yes, I know it’s a diesel, but with the equipment and boxes on it, it...
  15. Glad dead, the RHF Hub the culprit.

Out of spite I’d drive that Ram across the country and back….twice. But, I have a lot of free time.
  16. Door hinge replacement, stripped torx head removal

After removing the interior panel, hopefully you have some exposed threads inside the door. The most effective means of heat soaking them would be with an induction heater bolt remover. Available on Amazon.
  17. Fixing Sunrider Tension Cable - easy? Update: Yes, easy

Quick search and it looks like there are some YouTube videos on replacing the cable. Worth watching.
  18. Ok NOW I'm in the club!

That does not look good. It looks absolutely awesome! Thanks for making me not like mine now.
  19. Procrastination Pays Sometimes - Fender Bender

Don’t forget to file a Loss of Market Value Claim against their company after the repairs are done. You now have a bad Carfax history and the Jeep is worth less even if perfectly repaired. Put them on notice that you intend to do this.
  20. This is NOT the last Jeep I'll ever own....I hope........no, really!

Looking at the alignment of the bed to the cab, I don’t know how the frame wouldn’t be bent at this point. I wouldn’t accept a frame repair. I’d want a new frame.
