Looks great. You may need to adjust the headlights down a little so oncoming traffic doesn’t think you have your high beams on. Super easy to do. Takes under a minute to do both.
Putting it in a confined space with an ozone generator will get the smell out.
It cannot be in an inhabited space.
Most. detailers will have one. You can buy them on Amazon reasonably.
Have a friend that has always kept his power stroke F350s for two years. Usually around 60k miles on them. Go back to the dealer with the same oil and filter they came with. One of many reasons I won’t buy a used car.
Had: CJ7, TJ, JK,JKU. No regrets on the Gladiator. I have a hard tonneau cover so cargo security and space are not an issue. Such a versatile vehicle. Really does do it all. I went with the Rubicon this time around. Costs more, but you get it back on resale. Liked the ability to lock front and...
Looked at a 3/4 ton Ram. Couldn’t get comfortable and it was a Laramie. Can anyone explain why you can get a tilt/telescopic steering wheel in a 1/2 ton Ram but only a tilt wheel in a 3/4 or 1 ton Ram?
I’ve done lifts of different amounts on four Jeeps. Just did the 1.5” leveling lift on the Gladiator. With just the 1.5”, it didn’t need the lower control arms changed. 2.5” and up it definitely needs it from my experience or death wobble is going to happen.
The leveling lift is easy to do...
I have an F350 on order. Scheduled to be built next week. Dealer can’t get an answer on whether or not the price will change based on the tariffs. Just my luck.
If the price changes, I’m not taking it based on principle alone.
We don’t wave at each other when passing to say “Hello”, it’s to say “I share your misery”.
…..and yet somehow I’m on my fifth Jeep. Just can’t stay away.
Don’t rush out to buy that 3/4 ton Chevy. The paint on the roof of my 2024 started peeling at two months old. After a lot of aggravation, they offered to repaint the roof. They then said that the Carfax would show “body repair”. No thanks. Sold it.
Paint on my wife’s Tahoe has several defects...
I assume the new front lower control arms are adjustable. You want to get the front pinion angle back to stock. This will correct your caster. That is often the culprit if all of your bushings and hardware are tight.
So far my 23 Gladiator is good. My two month old Silverado however has the paint peeling off of the roof.
Is the problem the new paints that are supposed to be environmentally friendly?
My wife always encourages me when I mention buying a new vehicle, whether for myself or for her. That said, she hates the process and refuses to set foot in a dealership.
Back when I mentioned building a detached garage, she was great. Four times I came home with plans and four times she said...
