"this driver got out of his totaled car, I asked him if he was okay, he simply said “I don’t have a driver’s license, turned and ran on foot back up the ramp until out of sight, never to come back. A true hit and run on all senses of the words!"
You didnt get a picture of the guy running away...
Seems like quite a few people do. I think those of us whose backs like a more firm seat would be more comfortable with the JT than others that prefer the soft cushiony seats. adjusting the lumbar support helped me a lot.
We have a sustainable amount of lithium, yes. Actually they just found the MOTHERLOAD in a creek bed somewhere in southern Arkansas that Exxon bought the rights to. Finding enough batteries/storage isnt the issue. Its charging them and keeping them powered. I think you misunderstood what i was...
I agree. I don’t think having EVs as an option is bad but like you said it should be something they try to make more desirable. The Teslas are 100x better than any other EV I’ve seen. It’s like a spaceship inside. My gf was close to buying a Tesla but got a Charger instead. (Pun not intended).
Has anyone actually looked into the sustainability of going 100% EV???
It’s not possible without ramping up current coal, nuclear, and natural gas production, which defeats the entire purpose? They are forcing something on us bc governments around the world are being lobbied to do so and to...
One of the best sarcastic comments ever.
Aerospace is held to an entirely different standard than auto makers... When you run your entire company from a QMS standpoint the profit comes automatically. Less waste on bad parts and rework.
Plus an aerospace supplier can and does charge...
I try to avoid headlines at all cost to preserve my sanity and intellect. Lol.
By US requirements are you referring to Emission requirements? Pretty sure its even worse in the EU and Japan. That would go for safety requirements too. They limit your bumpers and other nonsense in the EU. As far...
Jeep is an AMERICAN icon. Not a EU icon... End of story! The EPA has lost thier minds and no longer live down here in reality with the rest of us! This entire EV push is going to be an epic failure. The infrastructure is not there! The US would need to produce 35-50% more electricity to get us...
I guess i should do that. Lol. I didnt think the jeeps computer would be that much different than what i would calculate. But judging by your response it might be?
Not sure if this helpful but i have always, no matter what vehicle, kept my gas tank as full as possible when its snowing out for the added weight. Seems to help more in trucks than SUVs but i see slight improvements in both.
Seems odd to me that after driving a vehicle for over 1000 miles the engine is still "breaking in" and gets terrible gas mileage because its still "breaking in". If this is true than its a terrible design imo. I highly doubt this has much to do with it though and even if it did we are talkin...
Mine has no lift. I haven’t added any weight other than a bigger jack under the back seat. I do drive mostly in the city but I would expect around 16/17 city and better on highway. The Willy’s does come with the 32” M+S tires, which I know don’t help but I see a lot of ppl with even bigger mud...
I have a stock 2023 Willy’s and I am getting 13mpg average. I feel like something must be wrong. I know jeeps don’t get great gas mileage but 13…. That’s pretty bad!
Actually, it’s not exactly the same thing. The Auto 4H mode is mostly reactive to slip. The transfer case may apply more power to the front axle proactively based upon your accelerator input and steering angle being fairly straight, but mostly power is ramped up to the front axle based upon...
Going up a snowy hill in 4H part time = the exact same thing as going up a snowy hill in 4H auto. So explain to me why having an auto function as a part of your manual transfer case was a must for snow?? I could be missing something here?
