  4. Black Horse Atlas brake light tie in

  5. Black Horse Atlas brake light tie in

I hope this is the place to post this thread. One of my first mods was to install a Black Horse Atlas roll bar https://www.quadratec.com/p/black-horse-off-road/atlas-roll-bar-gladiator-jt. I never got around to hooking up the brake light, and figured it's past time. The brake light is two...
  6. Bulletpoint phone mount - driver vs passenger side

Mine's slightly different, the dash points are for the remote radio head, hand mike and GPS. Ball on the grab bar, for the phone, makes it a short throw for USB plug in.
  7. Key Fob, Likes = Dislikes Poll

I have a 2021 sport the key kept getting opened all the time, so I bought a cheap ($10 estimated)that improves that. The other thing is how big and bulky it is, I mean I've had other vehicles where the button functionality was incorporated into the key handle and much more compact and...
  8. JOOSE Gladiator JT Club

When I first bought mine, it was in part because of my work in Search and Rescue, this color would be perfect for a SAR buggy.
  9. Badland Apex 12,000 lb. Winch installed

Well, I feel I should provide you all folks with an update. The local Harbor Freight store did a swap out, no fuss, no muss, easy as going in, talk to the manager and swap boxes. I had to wait two weeks before I could attempt the new install, but that's not important. When we unboxed I put...
  10. JEEP STOLEN FROM SAN DIEGO. What next to secure? any and all ideas are welcome

FWIW I don't live in a high vehicle theft area, but have used this on trips to large cities. I'm not sure how much a deterrence it is, or if it's just luck, but cheap and low-tech...
  11. Quadratec dead petal installed.

I installed the same dead pedal last year, sorry I didn't do it sooner, I don't rest my foot on the dead pedal while breaking, so I haven't noticed that behavior.
  12. Hooke Road Family

Thank you Guys, just the look and function I was after. The bumper install was the easy part. We did have to drill some holes for the Apex to properly mount, but in my mind, money well spent, and getting lots of compliments.
  13. Badland Apex 12,000 lb. Winch installed

Yea, well, seems to be the story of my life, if it's strange and bad, I get to encounter it. :)
  14. Auxiliary Port Plug Jack Modification for RJ45

Yea, sorry, I wasn't looking at the dates of the posts.
  15. Auxiliary Port Plug Jack Modification for RJ45

The nice thing about them, they are universal handmic mounts, the little "button" on the back is the same on all the mobiles.
  16. Auxiliary Port Plug Jack Modification for RJ45

    Yes, they do, https://www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/collections/device-holders/products/cb-radio-holder-with-20mm-ball
  17. GMRS OR VHF RADIO INSTALL ON GLADIATOR

This is a closeup of my mount, rather simple. I took the wiring from a lip mount, and had a friend craft this piece.
  18. GMRS OR VHF RADIO INSTALL ON GLADIATOR

I'm a ham RACES/ ARES operator, so I've got a Yaesu FT-8900. The body is mounted under the seat, and the power is run to a self-resetting fuse under the hood and then to the battery. The speaker is zip-tied to the sound bar behind the driver's side seat. remote head and other dash component...
  19. Badland Apex 12,000 lb. Winch installed

FYI I heard back from HF, I seem to have gotten a bad unit and need to exchange it. I'm glad it wasn't something I did.
  20. Badland Apex 12,000 lb. Winch installed

You guys seem to have it easy, I installed a Hooke Road Grill, and the plate needed new holes to align to the Winch. That was the easy part. The bad thing is that the cut-off switch works in the "Off" position, and not the "on", I even tried changing the posts, but it didn't matter. The...
