The Key fob with the exposed button to flip the key out./open is a major pain in the pocket.. Are you frustrated with the design of this key fob?
What cover have you purchased to limit or prohibit the opening of the Key without your input? BTW, it was modified design (at least for the 2023) The 2021 was worse.

I have a 2021 key fob. Other than the rare switch blade flip out in my pocket, I have never had an issue.

Take some heat shrink and place it on the key. Heat it and it will hold the key in place.

I took mine to my belt sander and ground it down to where it is no longer an issue.

Got a fob from threedom and it's great! Much happier with this vs original
This. Love my Threedom fob. I actually like having the key separate.

You left out an important choice:
"neither, but it's ok".
You don't have to like it to accept it as it is.
I said like, because I don't dislike or hate it.

I figure if my father could carry around all of that stuff 8+ hours a day working in a factory, I could deal with a fob in a holster while using my JT.
My wife has a JLU and neither likes nor dislikes it. She sticks it in a pocket while driving her Jeep, and never had any problems at all with it.

I understand some are going to really hate it, or at least "dislike it" and some maybe have been poked by the flip-out key, but having had to carry a lot more stuff with me over my years of work - for me, personally, it's no big deal at all.

For me, the holster solves a lot of problems - if my wife beats me to the truck, I don't have to fumble for the fob and hit the right button - it's always within easy reach and I simply know what button to press - muscle memory. If I forget to press the door handle button to lock it, I can simple reach down after I get away from the truck and hit the lock button.
It's really quite handy and I've used it for probably 4.5 to 5 years now.

For the rest - use the conversion kits. ;)

I have a 2021 sport the key kept getting opened all the time, so I bought a cheap ($10 estimated)that improves that. The other thing is how big and bulky it is, I mean I've had other vehicles where the button functionality was incorporated into the key handle and much more compact and comfortable for carrying. I'd really like to see an RFID chip installed on the key without button functions so I can stash it on the vehicle in-case of emergency so I can get back home to the primary fob.

I have no complaints on the fob. So far, it has been the only fob that I haven't cracked the case on.
