Wrong way of installation may cause this problem. When installing the clips, did you hear a “click” sound? That usually means they are locked in place. And after installation, please keep the window fully closed for about 24 hours so the clips can set and hold the visor firmly.Just got mine put in. Both front and rear drivers side have a few scratches in them. Kinda disappointed in that part but its plastic. Main concern is both rear windows hit the visor at the most rear section when I put them up. Anyone else have this issue? I hope they settle in after some time to the point they don't hit any longer. If not, that's gonna be a problem. @Tecbaba is this normal?
Yes. All the clips "clicked" when I pushed them in. I'm hoping that the adhesive just needs time to work and hold them securely in place. Got rain and cooler weather coming in tonight and tomorrow so they will be up tight for a few days.Wrong way of installation may cause this problem. That's exactly what my question was a while ago. I had these in my cart, but, the last time I used in channel visors, they scratched the hell out of the top of my windows. Alot of folks don't use their back windows, but our Dobermans love to ride and the back seat area is theirs, so the windows get used frequently.Just got mine put in. I had them on my Tacoma for many years and never had issues with the windows getting scratched. Hopefully these will work out. Time will tell. That's exactly what my question was a while ago. Looking forward to hearing if this gets resolved or not before I order
48 hours without rolling the windows down. This is what is happening. Not pleased with the result. The clips are in place and it is very snug.
