The hinge covers, as well as our other offerings, are made of Nylon PA12 - An Engineering Grade Material. This material is paintable.

An internet search regarding the painting of Nylon PA12 will bring up lots of info in regard to the preparation and painting the material.

What would be great if a simple hinge protector/cover for the front of the two-piece hinges was available to aid in the paint chipping problems associated with running deep lug tires.

Bonus points for offering them in factory paint codes!

On our website, Threedom, in the next few days will be clarifying the info in regard to our new products.

I just took this pic of a few barrel covers so you can see.. As mentioned with any Threedom hinge offering, you get 2 pieces....main hinge cover and a barrel cover.
