1750 miles on ole Boo here and low and behold check lights on, off to dealers tomorrow, Haven’t even made first payment yet!

Advanced Auto got the code to read P0300

Ps own 3 other Jeeps so use the normal bs but damn 1750 miles come on FCA wtf !

There's a software update that should take care of it. It came out 4 days ago.

Yes saw that! Bad news is, a buddy on FB just got it done and dealer called said code came back. My Recon is coming home today from service department and my Glad goes in tomorrow so will see

I just got my PCM flashed with the new update, CEL and ESS light were on within a week.

Got mine done last week. So far no CEL or Stop/Start issues like before. But there also looking into it deeper and waiting on what they find out. I personally think it’s bad batch of engines. But will see I guess how this runs is course.

There's a software update that should take care of it. It came out 4 days ago.

The software update does absoulutly nothing to fix the misfire issue. The fix is mechanical in the left side cylinder head, cam and rockers. I had all the same symptoms with the CEL and the ESS lights along with a rough idel. They replaced the entire upper end on the left side and I haven't had a problem since and they have not done the software update in mine...

There are many vehicles that have been fixed permanently with the software fix. There are some however that have not. Some have been fixed by tightening a ground bolt at the back of the head that grounds the injectors. Some like yours need a head replacement. Right now there is no one fix that is 100% effective on every JT. The root cause is still under investigation. If there were an absolute fix there would be a bulletin, which currently there's not.

Well add mine to the list of Gladiators that the "software fix" did absolutely nothing for. Out of the shop Wednesday afternoon, CEL Friday morning. Now rocking a Renegade as a rental.

Document everything folks. Lemon law, here we come.

Sorry it took so long to reply, my jeep was at the dealership for over a week so I couldn't check. Build date was 10/19

Nope. I had my Gladiator in the shop for 38’days ( that was just the second time) and that didnt fix the problem

Going to pick up my truck now. They did PCM flash. We'll see if it works. My CEL light has come on twice. Both times I was operating AC on max AC or auto but full cold and it was 95 degrees outside. We'll see if flash fixes it.

This fixed worked for me too..
