Just picked up a set of Method Race Wheels 709-HD in the Machined finish. Method recently dropped the price for the 18" size down to $229 ($449 original price) since they are discontinuing it in that size. They are the 18x9, +12 offset. I had to call Method to order the full chrome lug nuts and the rep said they are discontinuing the 18" size for the JT/JL due to Jeep guys sticking primarily with 17" wheels or jumping up to 20" wheels.
I personally like 18" wheels on Jeeps, and I've been eyeballing these wheels for a while now. I was going to wait until next year to buys these, but I couldn't beat the price. Plus there aren't really any other after-market 18" wheels for the JT that I'm too stoked about.
I'm stoked to see these on my JT, but I'm going to hold off a few months to get them installed until I get a new set of tires. My current MT Baja Boss A/T I’m running on my old 18” JK Sahara wheels are about done for and I don't want to pay for an install and alignment twice in a short period of time.
