First time going off-road with my Gladiator.
Camp Gruber ORV Park in Braggs, OK

we used to bring quads here 15yrs ago and ride.
Did the Gomer Pyle Loop - 3.4 mile easy trail around the perimeter of the park property. Had some rough rocky areas and a few rock step up/downs that were close to dragging. It was a lot of fun though! Definitely will go back and do it in reverse direction next time. And run down some of the other trails.

Overlook view of the Arkansas River. Not gonna get any closer to that drop off!

^^^ this step-down was more than I thought I should drop off of. Without full skid plates for sure. I backed up and took the right side of the tree.

Yeah, back in December. My first Jeep.
I had a ‘12 Ram Crew Cab Hemi 4x4, but actually lowered it and was always on all-season street tires. ? so I never did any “wheeling” with it.
When the Hemi got bit by the cam-n-lifter failure and I had to buy something new I thought I would go a different route when I saw these Gladiators dressed out a little at my local dealership.
I’m loving it!

The RokBlokz did amazing! And the Recon flares too!

Rolled thru multiple mud holes, some up to the edge of the rim, but zero blobs of mud on door handles, rear fenders, or door sides even!

Great investment in my opinion.

I've been to that overlook with the CanAm several years ago. I've sold the Maverick and got my 1st JT in January. Might have to go revisit that spot.

I was a tad bit nervous about getting too close to the edge my first time out there. ?

Might take my JT out there tomorrow! I’m on 34s and have a Asfir4x4 trans skid. Should the loop around the park be pretty easy for me?

I have video of me going down that exact step!
Fun place, a few of the trails are still quad/sxs only, but it has a few excellent views.

Uh oh. You’re addicted. I can’t recommend next venture skids highly enough. And their differential skids are unstoppable.

I started with their diff skids. Still have them. Tanks. Now I’m waiting for their new rock sliders.

I only have what came with a stock Sport. Basically I need em all. :CWL: Glad they do a piece mail kind of thing. I saw the prices for the full kit at first and my head went “NEOWP!!”. I do like how they come with a framework that you just bolt the plates to. Makes the process seem way easier that some others.

I highly recommend going with the diff skids and spacers. The cheap spacer allows you to use the Oem diff cover. And with their skids, the diff cover is never going to get touched. Mine still look brand new and it’s a heavily wheeled 2021.

And yes, the belly skids are expensive. But not as expensive as a transmission, oil pan, etc.
