I have a 21 willy jts , I'm running 315 70 17 duratrac. Should I go with the 2.5 spacer lift, or the 3.5 rough country lift?
Which would look better with these tires? (Also I do overlanding, not many hard trails)
Your opinion will decide with which lift I go
Thanks

I just got the AEV 2” spacer lift for my Willys. I think that lift with 35” tires looks best. The rough country, IMO, needs 37”.

It really sounds like all you need is a 2” spacer lift for your use. This pic is old but it is my 21 Willy’s with the AEV 2” and 35s.

If you’re overlanding, I’m assuming that you’ll want to keep the factory rake for weight in the bed. If that’s the case, then I’d go with the AEV spacers. Drive it for a while to see if you think you’ll want front and rear adjustable track bars. You may find that you want front adjustable control arms eventually as well.

Overlanding usually includes a lot of highway driving too from what I’ve gathered, so those extra parts that I mentioned outside of what AEV provides may be worth it for you.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject chimes in though. Good luck!

I have a Willys. Here are some pics of my Willys with a 2.5” front leveling kit and a 3/4” rear spacer. I am using my original Willys coils with take off Rubicon Fox shocks with extenders on the front. For reference my tires are 33s but will be moving up to 35s whenever the tire I want comes back into stock.
