I am going basic black with my Rubicon, but doing something like leatherseats.com and doing leather black and blue seats. That red stitching they do for the Rubicon seats bugs me with the blue for some reason. As well take that red dash insert out and match the paint.
No leather for me either. I plan to go topless about half the year and I don't want the deal with the maintenance to keep the leather in good shape. PLUS, I'm not a fan of burning my legs on hot leather in the summer. I like the tan cloth, but I don't see it as an option for the Rubicon?
My plan too except I'm going with the tan leather so I don't have the red stitching on the steering wheel, shifters, center console, etc.
Likewise... all these people saying, "Have you ordered your Jeep yet?" is getting pretty old. I already gave the dealer $500 for the order...just waiting to put it through! So I could technically say yes? Nah, but hopefully I/we don't have to wait much longer....
Remember the dealers are just the messegers. Y'all need to take a road trip to the 419 area code and bring your pitch forks and color each other blue lol
I think they had 2 blue's when I looked them up, I picked the darker of the two. I agree I would want to compare first with the other color. I'm sure someone has done a blue with the wrangler or dodge Hydro Blue that could compare. I like the brown/tan, I just wish the rest of the interior was a brown/tan to match instead of the dark gray.
What do you think of these (leatherseats.com)? I'd want to see samples in the actual Hydro Blue truck before I'd order...
