2021 4-Wheel Alignment at Firestone - Not!

Just took my 2021 JT HA to Firestone for a 4-wheel alignment. No modifications, just wanted to get a base-line since I have a slight wandering issue.

Dropped the JT off and about 30 min later got a call that they don't have the software to align my JT yet... Issue related to safety systems....

So I think only the dealers can align the 2021s for now. Just a heads up!

You probably already know but there are really no adjustments for the JT in the alignment department except toe in or out, pretty much is what it is. Waste of money IMO. If you have some wander try adding more caster with Mopar lower control arms if staying stock, if you are going to lift it a little get some geometry correction brackets, either is money better spent than an alignment.

They have to pay whoever makes their machine to update new model years into the computer. They could look up the specs in whatever website they use for repair information if they really wanted to. Just don't pay for a four wheel alignment because like Mac says in stock form its a toe set only.

I have been very impressed with my alignments from Les Schwab Tire. The technicians really know what they're doing. They have a very modern, laser-guided alignment rack. And they let me watch and ask questions while they're doing the alignment.

That's pretty funny.

As stated solid front and rear axles. Nothing really to adjust, minus toe and the drag link.

They could have easily have thrown it on the rack and taken measurements.

I'd avoid them like the plague if they couldn't figure that out.
