So I just took my neighbors camper for a test tow up over the switchbacks on rt70 from Greeneville TN to North Carolina.
this is the camper specs: https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2016...ni-lite-travel-trailer-floorplan-1905-tr26809
He was impressed with the truck’s towing both uphill and down with the Mopar brake controller. Most importantly we were watching the temps and never went over 230 degrees at its highest and even was as low as 203 on some flats and downhills. For the record it do have the AFE charge pipes, intake installed prior to the test.
just wanted to report the results from his standpoint having towed the same camper with a full size Chevy was very good.
