Figured I should check in now that I've had it a few months. No major mods, just the lights and winch from the previous owner.

We are currently planning out the suspension and I'm leaning towards the MetalCloak 2.5 or 3.5" mid-arm and 35" tires - hopefully next year.

Long story short:
Three months ago I scheduled the truck to go in for the fuel pump recall, the parts aren't available yet but I noticed a small leak at the rear window in some car washes. Warranty stuff, no biggie Kept the appointment to get the leak sealed.

I had scheduled it for when I would be out of town and they could keep it for a week, being the good customer that I am.

My flight gets in 45 minutes after service closes and our second Jeep is also down with a fuel pump issue. I called to see if I could pick it up after service closed. They say no problem, we will leave the key and paperwork at the sales desk. Problem is, they can't find my key or paperwork so I use my spare key and get the truck so I can do some shopping and pick up my dogs.

I came back today to get my key and the paperwork.

No services performed, no one even looked at my truck for a week. The service advisor was fired an hour ago for being an incompetent moron. Apparently he just decided to stop doing his job and see if anyone noticed.

So that's $40 in Lyft rides I'm out and I still can't go through a car wash. The dealer offered to perform the work if I could leave the truck, so I will have to schedule this out again.

I'm a little annoyed, but this isn't really the dealer's fault and they already fired the guy responsible. It sounds like they are dealing with a string of people in a similar situation. I feel for the techs who are now going to be jammed up trying to get all these people back on the road and the folks who are going to have their repairs delayed.
