I shaved the bumps on the front of my bumper, but not sure that would help you much. The frame is about 1/2 to 1 inch max from the front of the rest of the bumper. If you want to test, you could pull the front bumper and see where the frame horns sit without a bumper installed.

To shave the bump stops, you need to remove the bumper and remove the impact cans. Then you need to make a panel to fill cover the space once you remove the bumps that stick forward.
I did this, but to a steel Jeep bumper…

Some good advice here folks, thanks. The idea of reconfiguring the garage is a very good one.

My boy noted that my license place bracket is actually hitting the bar in the cabinet, so I took it out and mounted the plate to the bumper which gave me about an inch and about what I needed. I have the old tennis ball from the roof trick and a small piece of tape on the windshield so I’ve gotten good at getting it in the spot alone.

I only park it inside when I have doors and roof off. I have a big tree over the drive which drops things in the jeep including bird doo. Most of the time the Vette sleeps in the garage and it fits fine.

Dumb question, but can you just pull your countertop up, then shift all your lower cabinets to the right to give your bumper clearance?
Not dumb, actually a great idea that would work!
