You know how there are those shower curtain rods that bow out for more room in the shower? Anyone make a garage door like that? LOL

Jokes aside that is going to be super tough. My garage is too short for my gladiator too with the shelves I put in. But since it's the tiniest 2 car garage with big stairs cutting into it there's no way 2 cars would ever fit, so the Jeeps go outside. Some day I'll own a large garage.

We’re looking at houses right now and are coming up with the same issues with anything “modern”. I’ve argued with two builders already that a two car garage implies you can fit two cars inside. Not taking the cubic dimensions of two smart cars and saying “look! Two cars will fit!

Sometimes you do what you gotta do to get the vehicle in the garage. Especially when large hail is headed your way……

Something... something... software.
According to Motobilt:

The cost of the bed kit is less than what most reputable body shops would charge to cut down the factory bed. With that said, we put our factory Gladiator bed for sale on social media and sold it in less than 30 minutes for $4000. We recommend you do the same. Consider putting your factory bed on eBay and/ or social media to upgrade to the heavier duty-and better looking Motobilt bobbed bed conversion. In addition, if you have an aftermarket rear bumper you can sell that as well.
"...and better looking..." If you have just taken an entire bottle of maximum strength crazy pills, maybe. Thing looks like a vehicular version of Dr. Doolittle's Push me- pull ewe.

I'm in the same boat, with work benches, tool boxes ,freezer, and refrigerator. Wife's TJ and my HD live in the garage. My JT and boat leave in a pole barn.

Wouldn’t that make the Jeep longer? Front left corner of the front driver side bumper to back right corner of passenger side back bumper.
Technically yes. But my garage wall has a nice set back on it so it works for me. Not sure how his is setup.

My JTRD won't fit in my garage. It's too tall. The garage has a 6ft high door on it. I have to duck when I go in and out of it. My garage is in the basement. The only things that fit is my Nismo and Bike.

Yup I found that was the case in my house hunt a couple years ago. In my town for whatever reason its really rare to have a house with a garage under $500k, and nothing with a 3 car below a million. And any of those attached garages will be small.

Detached is the way to go to get something big enough for modern trucks & SUVs.

The best bet is buying a house from another car enthusiast since detached garages tend to be a poor return on investment (compared to things like kitchen or master suite renovations).

Like @Rusty PW only vehicles in my garage are the M2, Ducati, and Trek

easier and cheaper to open the drywall, cut the studs, and build a box to fit the bumper into.
Ive done the above and it works great will give you several inches. Think of a picture frame. Just cut the sheetrock and reframe the number area. Prob a 2'x6' area.
