2023 glady sport electronics issue

So I was having battery issues so I removed the aux battery from the loop and bought a new one since I just made the 100k mark, everything was fine for a few days then I started getting error messages, and it would not start ( not even a click) then nothing, dead , not a peep. Checked the battery , it was fine, checked fuses , relays and the z bar high voltage, all fine. Got frustrated and hooked the winch negative back up to shut down the work for the day and it started, soo I guess something is using the steel bumper/ winch as a pass through, how would I find out what it could be in that situation?

At face value, it sounds like you have a problem with the stock main battery to firewall cable or its connection(s). This is assuming your winch negative cable is attached directly to the main battery negative. If you've modified the wiring away from stock or are using some other attachment for the winch, it'd help to describe so in detail or post up clear pictures.

Seems like an issue with the battery ground cable. Connecting the winch negative cable has the battery grounded through the winch.

Sorry, I was talking about the diesel earlier when I said it was on the firewall. For the 3.6L the negative cable attaches to the side of the engine compartment, number 3 in the diagram below.
