2023 Jeep Gladiator Order…What step are you in?

I’m told the delay is due to the Safety options and Mopar accessories that I ordered on my build.

I’m at 80 days in D1, dealer says it’s the safety options holding it up. Dealer says My estimated ship date is tomorrow, I guess that date going to move again. At least I’ve been able to save up some more cash while waiting.

I ordered mine 12/31...only after the abilitity to order the safety options (BSM and Adaptive Cruise) opened back up after a 2 month inability. i'm wondering now that the parts are available to order, if this will speed things up and clear up the back log. i think it's been sitting in that stage for so long is they were waiting for these parts to come and it seems like they are. stuff i read (and knowing someone in a different field of the auto industry) says that what was once a shortage, will now become a surplus. it's just about the labor now to get these things finished and out the door.

I ordered 12/5 and got build date of 01/19/23 from the dealer. No estimated delivery. Mine is diesel with all safety options so not sure if that makes any difference.

Ordered 12-28, just got a text saying it's added to the production que. Not sure what that one means, but dealer is estimating 2 months.

Almost fully loaded Rubicon, minus smokers package.

Just got the same message...ordered 12/31 I got a mojave with pretty much everything but the cold weather package (in south florida). now lets hope the parts are there when they need to be installed.

the units in D1 , that is the estimated ship date when the car is supposed to be built and released for shipment.. if all goes well you could see those vehicles on the ground at the dealer around the 1st 10 days in February.

Order date 9/12. After 32 days of C status, 80 days of D1 Status I finally just made it to E Status with a delivery date of 2/24. Dealer told me it’s in paint today. Been a long wait!!!

I think the 3 month extra time was for some of the safety features if you ordered them. I think once December rolled around they started getting them out. I've been to about 4 dealers and non of their gladiators have any of the safety stuff. I'm pretty sure I was told that that if the jeep has a customer name on it, it will jump the line over dealer ordered or allocated jeeps.

You are correct, it was the safety options that were holding it up. Worth the wait for me, my last couple vehicles had them and it saved me once or twice. I’ve also not seen safety options in any Jeep on the dealer lot.

Yup. I went order the vehicle in September and the options were greyed out. Finally got around to it in late December and the price went up by about 750 bucks. ?

Just hoping it's a 2 or 3 month wait.
