Honestly it seems like most of the California purchasers that are looking for the best deal are purchasing from @12psi. For the savings over buying in SoCal it is well with the trip.

Rob Trachtman at Tuttle Click in Irvine will get you taken care of, I was at 2% below invoice. The total cost in time and money of flying to ID and driving back 1000 miles with current fuel prices and vehicle depreciation is at best a wash.

Always the best bet out there is Gupton motors in TN unless you can get lucky like I did in SLC. Got 8% off invoice last year.

@RobTrachtman was great for me. I did the math, and it didn't make sense to go Gupton or Idaho from a $ plus throwing a bunch of miles on a brand new vehicle. Got the truck (JTRD 2022) in about 9 weeks or so from order.

We picked up a Rubicon this last February from Kent at Peterson jeep in Idaho. $165 per person flying one-way from Los Angeles international airport. We live right by L.A.X. Airport. Driving through Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Nevada was beyond gorgeous. Just ordered a Gladiator through Kent a week ago and we are way so looking forward to that totally fun two day, one night adventure again. Approximately 16 hours total driving time back to Los Angeles. We spent the night in Winnemucca, Nevada and had a blast. An hour or two gambling, great food in a cool little city. Sooooooo looking forward to that. Hopefully we will be picking up our new 2023 Gladiator in the end of October or I figure at the latest November.
