I just did the install of the full MB Quart system with the amps, knee speakers, dash tweeters, soundbar 6x9’s and sub and was looking for other people’s experiences with the sound and adjustments. The install went well, just time consuming and tedious but not that hard all together. I am a little disappointed with the sound, specifically the output of the knee speakers and the soundbar. I feel like I installed 6 tweeters as there are no lower frequencies from these speakers at all. I don’t expect them boom like a sub but I guess I assumed they would produce a full range sound considering they are sold as a stand alone package. It is almost like the polarity is wrong on them which should be impossible when using the supplied wiring. I know sound is subjective but what kind of sound range are you guys getting with this setup? The sub does help quite a bit to round it out but I have the gain set quite a bit higher than what MB Quart suggests and have the bass boost on for the sub to really be heard. Has anyone else experienced this and have any suggestions for what to look for?

my local shop installed a DSP to get a clean signal with upgraded kicker speakers. im running a 5 channel kicker amp 750 watts, upgraded all the speakers to kicker and 2 -10" kicker subs. I think it opens it up and give you a wider array of sound. they told me the Achilles heal in the system is the output a d a DSP really brings it to life.
