I've been thinking about dumping my JTR MT, one because the clutch is garbage, and two I'm not getting any younger. My research involved the 2024 Rubicon X versus the Rubicon. I looked at the available options, and if I don't mind (or want) leather auto seats, and colored top and fenders, and happy with the cloth seats, which I prefer. I can build a "standard" Rubicon that has all the bells an whistles that the X does except for the leather seats and matching color top and fenders (I hated the seats in my Tacoma), for over $2000 less, and my dealer will take quite a bit off the price. So, I love the JTR, but this will be my last MT, a transmission I've shifted since 1965 (1953 M38A1 and 1973 CJ-5).

Many on here like the AT, so I'm not leaving here, just shifting gears so to speak.

Left over 23 does nothing for you? Will save some serious coin right now over a new 2024 and no incentives.

None in NM and AZ with the options I want. My guy in AZ will get me a good price, and I'll do some wheeling in AZ.

X has the full time auto transfer case, the non-X Rubicon does not.
X has the MOPAR leather, non-X has an option, I think, but it's different.
I believe you are also looking at power seats as a difference.

I've done snooping around here - no 23s with my options in our area, not that many 23s left around here anyway. None of them loaded, none of them in the colors, etc. that I want.
They keep sending me notices that i can upgrade to a 2023 from my 2022 and keep my payments, even lower them, just add time to the loan (no money out of pocket, just extend the loan period out) but there's nothing out there. If I traded, it would have to be for a reason other than the exact same thing but 1 year newer.
Sales guy is working on me, LOL - he's called and emailed and asked "do you want me to call you when this Mojave X comes in??" He's darned good at what he does. He's been selling Jeep and Ram for over 20 years, he ought to be good. I tell him - with my resale or trade in the dump and the prices of Mojave X up there more than 10K what I paid for my 22 - meh........

Yeah, my guy sold me my 22, and now moved to a much bigger dealer in AZ with much better deals. The JTR X options don't interest me. I'm a geologist and use it in the field mostly. Our main car is the 23 RAV4 Prime PHEV.
