The ride is as good, or better, than stock on highways and decent surface streets.
For crappy cracked and heaved asphalt streets, I notice the sharp impact points maybe a bit more at 35mph & 35 psi. I suspect the stock shocks are valved to give a little more cushion for those but the RedSport shocks offer more stability with the lift. It’s a fair balance for the changes.
I recently had an oil change & tire rotation at the dealership and they filled the tires to 38 psi. The 3 psi had more effect making the ride firm and granular texture than the lift did.
I’m going to stay with the stock wheels. I had 1.75” hubcentric spacers from Bonson Here. They machine them in house. I used them to adapt JL wheels on my TJ.
So I think I'll go with a 11.5 x 35 - 17" AT tire. Either BFG KO3 or Falken
Here‘s mine, same jeep, same lift, but with 35” KO2’s which aren’t quite 35” and Fox 2.0 shocks. I measured right after install and it was about 5.5” higher with the lift and tires. Tires were 1”, so the lift was about 4.5” which is higher than I expected or wanted really. I didn’t want to go 37’s but I think the 35’s look too small now. It’s settled about a half inch in 500 miles since the install.
