I don't know but I'm not planning to trade mine in. I need to start thinking about retirement as some point. Right now, we're keeping all of our vehicles. We've got one more vehicle to buy, then we are done for the next 15 years.

Same here… reason I quickly traded my 2022 for the 2024 X

This is where I'm at with it too. Just hoping I get lucky and get a lot of miles out of my 2020 3.6.

The Pentastar is a fairly solid engine, so I wouldn't worry too much about longevity. However, it doesn't hurt to put away a little money each month into a repair fund. You can always put in a new crate engine if something catastrophic goes wrong. The cost for a new engine is still a fraction of what a new replacement vehicle would cost.

What's also nice is these companies doing Hemi swaps typically have low mileage engines for sale at reasonable prices.

Unless you are trying to trade it in anytime soon, I wouldn’t sweat it. Back in 12/2008, I bought a new 2008 JKU Rubicon for $11k off. It had every available option but automatic so I figured the resale value would always be terrible but I got what I wanted and I’d just drive it for years and it is what it is. I sold it 18 months ago later for $7k more than I paid for it. Resale does come back. All trucks are over stocked and what’s selling is going for huge discounts. Markets return. Mine is 5.5 yrs old and paid for now, but I’d be surprised if the resale didn’t come back up.
