33x12.5x17 Tires on Gladiator Sport Nighthawk with Wide Axles

Im looking to buy a pair of the Rock Trix RT111 in 17x9 https://rocktrix.com/collections/offroad-street-wheels/products/rt111 to mount 33x12.5x17 General Grabber X3s that were gifted to me. Want to make sure there is no rubbing

My main question is should i be looking to go with the +12mm Offset or the -12mm offset in order to have a bit of poke without any sort of spacers with the wide axles? I believe the current 20x8 wheels the Nighthawl comes with have a +45mm offset but i am not 100% sure

Once you figure out the offset on your stock wheels you can use this to help visualize the difference ...

Your stock wheels are +44.

You can use either +12 or -12. You'll have enough clearance with +12 if you want to keep the tires more tucked.

Here is mine with 1.5" wheel spacers which makes it equivalent to +6:

Thanks for your replies!!! I was able to visualize the changes with tiresize.com after confirming the stock wheels have a +46mm offset so i went with the +12 as to not have 2+ inches of poke, went ahead and ordered the wheels! Will upload some pics when done

Sick look, going through the same dilema on my nighthawk. Could you share a pick or two from the front to see how much more or less they stick out? I’m not planning on running such a wide tire but really liking this look.
