I personally would not run an R/T during our winter months
Luckily I have a set of dedicated winter tires so I am looking for either an RT or MT for summer. I am also considering the 35x11.5 nitto ridge grappler.

On this subject, I am looking at 35 12.5 17s. Stuck between the Wildpeaks and the KO2.....kinda like how the Wildpeaks look but the KO2 weighs a good bit less.

Hey all,

I am looking to run 35's for my next set, stock wheels on a Rubi
(probably 11.5w wide , depending on what I can get around here at the time)

I notice everyone has the fender to bumper covers removed

Do they need to be removed for the travel of the 35's ?

Or is this just personal preference ?

I would, especially if the offset is aggressive

Most here don't come with those installed. That's why you'll see a lot without them; they simply didn't have them to start with.

Is that a steel bumper with the aero piece. First Ive seen that. Here i think those are only on the sport wrangler. Dont think the JT gets them...if so, I havent seen one

Must be a overseas version thing (or maybe just Aus), not the first I have come across,
I have seen some other JT's over here without them, not sure if its legal where I am to have any tyre exposed (as such)

I would, especially if the offset is aggressive
Running stock wheels so no offset change. can't use wheel spacers over here either
But I am going have to watch it when i change over to 35's and remove them I suppose if I get any rub through that area

Thanks all
