35" without lift Rubicon

Hi everyone! I was inquiring at my dealership about putting 35s on my LE without a lift and theyr told me:

"you can have it done . we only sell them if lifted because we where told,
they cant go off road with 35" because the fender wells will burn off.
ok on road not off."

Has anyone else run into this issue or heard anything like this?

Fender wells get sucked into the tires using the stock 33's driving on the highway. My driver side is about half gone now. No off road at all yet. 35's would likely eat a bit more.
