Attached are several photos of my JT with the stock wheels and the Falken 11.5's This is with a 2 to 2.5 inch lift. No rubbing issues. The picture of the driver's front shows on of the several mechanical/electonic anti-theft devices I use. There is a cartel theft ring in our area using minor- aged drivers that are stealing Jeeps as well as other vehicles. (Recently, after a high speed chase, the young driver attempted to run down the officers that had cornered the stolen vehicle in a parking lot. He was shot for his troubles, and died later from injuries. The family is suing the El Centro PD. Another juvenile was caught after a foot chase after he crashed the stolen Gladiator in which he was attempting to outrun the police) ) The cable won't prevent theft, but it will slow them down.

Swegian,

Sorry to hear Jeeps are on the list of your local theft gang. I know the neighborhood well. We loved our 3500sqft house built in 1910 on 6th and Wensley.

With 3 late model Jeeps it would perturb me a lot if one was targeted. We lived there 1996-2003. I worked in border enforcement. Very familiar with local/regional/trans-national crime.

Great area for a Jeep. We had sold our Cj5&8 a couple years before moving to the area. Did lots of 4 wheeling there in my job. From the Ocotillo and north to i-10/210; Glamas and north, the 78 miles of border from the hills on the west to the sand dunes to the east. Lots of great fun to be had.

Oh, and 70 degree Christmases were fun, lol.

Part of me misses it a lot, but not the $900 electric bills in the 140 degree summer's.

God bless,

Yup, it dose get a little balmy in the summertime. We get out of town for part of July and all of August, we will be up in Silverton Colorado then. My sister lived on Wensley years ago. I am leading a run for our local group next Saturday out east, the Walker Lake Loop. We have had some rain this fall and the desert is starting to flower and bloom. Natural water holes (tinaguas) have water and many of our Desert Wildlife Drinkers are full or nearly so after a year or more of drought.
