@Summitdan very cool, one more question if you don't mind... is there (can there be) a pass-through for the rear sliding window?

The current design allows the front window to be zipped open and rolled up, but it would be difficult to do in a moment. I’ve considered having a canvas shop make another front window with a matching opening, but it hasn’t been an issue for us. I thought I’d want it with the dog, but she just lays down back there.

That's exactly why I was interested, thanks!
Any time. I never really use the sliding window in the cab either. Too much of a pain to stop and get out to open or close it. If it were power maybe I’d use it.

That sliding window definitely should have been powered. I never use it. I will say, the few times I used it, it created a whirlwind of dust and dog hair all over the cab’s interior. Obviously not an issue with doors and top off.

When we first got it, I opened it a few times for the kids before the topper was on. With them unable to reach it to close it, it became not worth it to open. Doesn’t bother me much, but you’re right. If it were powered, I’d use it all the time as a vent to reduce buffeting.

I know it's an old post but a photo of your rig showed up in my search for 37s on Jeep Gladiators. Just have to say that is one of the sweetest looking rigs I've seen. Well done!
