Agree: sometimes circumstance dictate courses of action that aren't ideal. I think we've all been there in some form or other.

If you need to turn sharply regularly while in 4WD you probably should have bought the Select trac for the CV joints. I know I wish I had opted for it now.
The ujoints aren't damaged by operating at an angle, it just feels weird. You get the same feeling driving in front only on the street after busting the rear driveshaft. It's not binding it's the ujoint speeding and slowing due to its shape.

😂🤣🤣 No you don't........
I've wheeled with plenty of IFS rigs with CV joints and have seen plenty of them BLOW OUT while on the trails.

I'd rather replace a Ujoint than deal with replacing a CV joint. Granted... I'm sure the Jeep CV joints are much easier to replace than the IFS - but still.

Doesn't matter what you get...... You can/will break it eventually.
