Hi - I just purchased a 10” led light bar from 4WDKING. To connect its harness into the aux switch wiring what connector do I need to purchase? The harness has a DT male connector. I see a few different DT connectors out there.

Other than connecting the harness to the switch wiring, installing the ground, and programming the aux button - that should be all that’s required? I shouldn’t need to mess with the fuses correct?

All you need from all that is the light and the harness from the light to the relay.

Cut the red and black wires from the connector to the relay, red goes to whatever AUX switch wire you're using, black goes to one of the ground posts next to battery on inside of fender.

You'll want a ring connector for the ground and a butt splice for the power. I used heat shrink connectors for both AND was anal and put heat shrink tube over the wire and butt connector each side.

Your DT connector is the connection from light to harness. One side is male, the other is female. You don't need anything else in that spot.

It's a very simple install, hardest part is routing harness where you want it, out of the way, without pinching or routing across sharp edges.

Sorry newbie here when it comes to electrical. I received the light and harness today. Below is a pic of it. So it’s just the red wire I need to strip and black wire I need to ground?

Other than the gray connector to connect the lights, that’s all I need to worry about?

It comes with a switch - can I just cut the switch off without any issues?

Thanks
