67 designs wiring question

I finally caught 67 Designs when they had all the parts in stock. I got the Gladiator 55 rail with 2 balls, a GoPro mount, short arm and universal phone mount. This cost about 100 bucks more than anything comparable, but nothing looked as clean or seemed as flexible. Question: Is there a jack on the back of the stereo or some place hidden where I can plug in a usb cable or do I have to wire something up? I imagine if I needed to use CarPlay I wouldn’t need to have the phone up on the dash since the 8.4 would be right next to it, so playback probably isn’t necessary, but if I can, why not? Mine already has usb in the dash, in the console and 2 in the backseat, all of them charge and playback. But I might make one in the back seat charge only and pick that up for charge and playback. Sorry so lengthy, just thinking out loud and looking for ideas.
