Trying to wrap my head around the factory radio wiring in my JT before I start down the slippery slope of upgrades.
The base diagram I found on the JL forum doesn't match exactly as I know I have 4 total factory sound bar speakers but this only indicates 2. 8 total speakers where this diagram only shows 6.
The only other diagram was for the premium option which shows a separate amp with independent channels for all 9 speakers including the sub.
Is there another diagram out there somewhere or what am I missing?

Very familiar with Crutchfield, but I am not aware of them having wiring schematics on their site.
What I am trying to find out before I start swapping parts is if the factory harness in my JT has essentially 4 channels from the radio that each have two pairs of speakers wired in parallel for a total of 8?
So for instance if I want to drop in a 3 way component set with a passive x-over in the front with a mid a tweet up high and say a 6-1/2" woofer in the knee panel, and start by having it powered by the factory head unit before I add a dedicated amp and pull larger speaker wire down the road, can I use just the dash signal and leave the factory knee panel plug hanging loose under the assumption that both the dash and the knee panel are seeing a full range signal from the same head unit channel so it wouldn't matter which one I tap? Or is the dash and knee on separate channels where the radio may not function if one isn't plugged in or maybe there is some active signal processing going on that would affect which output I would want to use?
