7 slot grill for 7 continents?

Is this a true? Jeep uses a 7 slot grill because the jeep has traveled on all 7 continents? Heard that in this video.

My M38 had 7 slots, but I think the MB had 9. Pretty sure the M38 hadn’t been to Antarctica by ‘51. Maybe a CJ2 made it there. Personally, I think it’s a made up thing, but someone may prove me wrong.
