@Gringo&Gun talk to me about how you ran the wiring for your ARB. I have always had mine set under the hood but with the Genesis Dual Battery kit that really isnt feasible now.

Did you drill through the tub to the battery? or are you using the bed outlet?

Yes drilled whole just big enough for wiring harness high near top of case. Compressor pulls 50amps so believe bed outlet is under powered for ARB Twin. After cut some light sanding, paint, and rubber grommet. Expedition essential harness zip tied along undercarriage with slack in climb into bed/case. Inside and outside of case rubber grommets to absorb vibration stress on case. Case is attached to bedrail with typical bed rail hardware.

I have checked the harness a few times over 10000ish hard miles, see to signs of wear.

Gotcha. So undercarriage directly to battery. I was trying to find a possibly different solution to this as I have a GFC but didnt think there was one besides drilling through SOMETHING. Thanks for the info, I will probably do this shortly.

I was looking at that harness, mainly because I already ripped up the stock harness to do hood fitment lol.

Thoughts on how the harness is put together? Minimal extra wiring/connections?

They make great stuff. I started originally with the ARB TWIN with tank in ARB case. Case was junk and cracked from vibrations. Wiring harness with that set-up is alligator clips and I believe 5 or 6 pin power connection. EXE harness had connections I did not need, (only needed power) I was fine with this in case I modify set-up. I believe these are made to order so you might be good getting something custom.

I talked to them yesterday about products I want them to develop, fingers crossed. Good group.

They are great for sure.

I appreciate the response. Looks like I know what direction I am going now. Many thanks!

@Gringo&Gun , how do you like that Nomad grill?

Great product if your die hard coal guy. Produces very little heat on surface set over. I still run a silpat mat out of caution.

Sweet build. I’m surprised to see no awning though!? I suppose the doors on the alucab provide some coverage, but it seems like more coverage wouldn’t hurt!

No doubt. Haul a tent now. Been looking for a rear mount option. Below and tree hunt for now.

how did you connect the Magma mount to the lower side of the JT?

This is a great addition to my work truck JT as a table when I do installs.

Not a good pic. Stainless plate is custom. Mounted with the slider bolts sandwiching custom mount between slider and slider frame mount.
