So many threads on non-ACC mounted rearview mirrors but and people asking in those threads asking about doing this on ACC rearview mirrors but never answered.
I’m thinking of doing this if there’s a solution. It’s always been an issue that the box and mirror can get in the way in certain situations so hopefully someone has come up with a solution? My seat is as low as it gets and I’m just more torso tall than leg tall I guess at 6’ 1”.

For me it’s always:
- On-ramp traffic that lines up perfectly in the box/mirror blind spot. That’s always a late surprise if you’re not actively looking around the box/mirror and it happens more than you’d think!
- Mountain driving with hard turns to the right. Can’t see the road very well unless I lean way into the turn, lean out of the turn or duck down to see under the box to see animals, rocks, stopped traffic, cyclists, etc.
