For what it's worth, in my other Jeep models, the brake lights definitely come on when the ACC slows you down at all. Also, when my emergency braking is about to engage... because it thinks I'm about to hit a car, it blinks the brake lights rapidly.

has anyone noticed that it's very aggressive on braking and accelerating? mine works well, but it just seems to do everything with urgency for some reason.
It can get a little aggressive. Im just glad I found out how to adjust the forward collision warning alerts and automatic braking.

I would assume they turn on whenever brakes are applied, but would LOVE visual confirmation from someone. You know what happens when we assume. ;)
I can confirm 100% that the Brake Lights are activated when using ACC.

I was towing a small Airstream (3,500 lbs) last weekend and had ACC on while cruising down the I5. The front of the Airstream is like a mirror and lit up like a red Christmas Tree every time we ran into traffic and the ACC had to slow us down.

As I side note, I was concerned that the ACC wouldn't function well when towing. I was wrong ... it worked like a champ. Truly fantastic feature for long highway drives.

I took a trip to Los Angeles this last weekend and fell in love with my ACC. It was flawless in the LA freeway traffic. Acceleration is more aggressive than I normally drive but that’s ok. I need to stop driving like the grandpa I am. I was concerned that the aggressive stuff would affect MPG but I got 19.4 on my second tank of gas through my new JT LE. Loving it.

I've taken two long trips so far with my Gladiator, both at least 12 hrs on the road with one 22 hr non stop except for gas stops day, I love ACC and will never have a vehicle without. I've driven through exchanges and heavy traffic areas around cities, with it totally controlling my speed. I would find what looked like locals going with the flow and just let them pace me in the heavy traffic areas. The only time I would have to cancel it is if I hit a ramp without someone in front of me. One time I had been following so long, I didn't think about it when I turned off and sure enough, once the last corner bit of the car in front of me cleared my lane, the Jeep hit the accelerator and started to take off as I quickly tapped the brakes to cancel the ACC
