Adding 'Blind Spot' Mirrors

Did anyone add blind spot mirrors to a JT that did not originally come with them?

Was looking at these...

...and wondered if they are literally plug and play of if I need another mod in the system.

It looks like they are heated...and trying to confirm automated.

I doubt the sensors are in the sides of your taillight housings. The mirror is just the indicator, not the sensor.

That is what I was thinking. I will have to do some sensor research...

In case folks are wondering if this is doable. I purchased the wiring kit only from infotainment, got the blindspot sensors from eBay and retrofitted to my LED tail lights. Used the tazer mini to activate them and it all works. I think you can source the parts and build the harness for much cheaper. Installed on 2022 JT rubicon.

They definitely aren’t. It’s a different tail light.
