That's what makes a customizable vehicle so much fun. Everybody has their own flavor.

If you want to support a fellow JT owner, @darksidedesign custom makes them for your Jeep from paracord.

The dealer left these on the back seat. They're Mopar for sure (see the Jeep Logo). I couldn't install them at first due to back surgery issues. I've been using the A pillar but I might give them a try as I will be installing the Quadratec interior light bar. Definitely not removing the rear hard top for the rear grab bars though. No one rides in back anyway.

My dealer was courteous enough to install these on my JT before sale.

On my previous JKs, I just made my own grab handles with braided 550 paracord

I don't use mine, and it always hits me in the head when I lean out to look. I got my hand caught in it once, when I was trying to video my front tire splashing through a creek. I am thinking of removing them, or at least the driver handle, because my buddies say they like it and use it every time. I use the pillar handle, and now after my knee surgery, I have been entering backwards- the way the PT showed me...then I bump the back of my head on it. I still don't hate them because the passengers use them, and paracord handles do look good, it might look funny if I only have three.

I braided up my own for my Wrangler and yes the Just Empty Every Pocket effect doesn't end. Some parts for my 05 Wrangler Unlimited this month and repaired plastic dashboard grill too. It's not been reinstalled yet to damn cold outside.

I noticed my wife using the roll bar as a grab handle. I picked up some of the velcro paracord style handles off of Amazon. They work really well and almost perfectly match the Gator paint. She and my son use them all of the time and love them. Not sure how long they’ll last, but they work for now.

Like others, I just have a paracord set off Amazon. I don't use them much on the driver's side, but people getting in the passenger side seem to use them often.
