Hi Jeepers,
I installed yesterday my rugged ridge amfib snorkel. First big problem is that the keeps in New Zealand have the battery on the other side, that means everything is a bit squeezed. Now the weird thing is when you drive in lower rpm you have kind of a vibration on the throttle and the engine sounds strange. Could that be because it not sucks enough air.
Hope anyone can help me out.
Cheers Stephan

Did you change the intake pipe between the air box and the throttle body at the same time? I've noticed with my Mopar Performance intake that there is a low rpm range that has a little bit of a resonance. It doesn't sound weird or unusual, but it definitely gets a little louder.

If you are using an inlet pipe that gets rid of the stock resonance chambers, then that may explain the added noise.
