Aftermarket wheels advice needed

Discount Tire shows rim width of 7.5-11 for the Nitto Ridge Grappler in 315/70R17.

Personally, I wouldn’t want it done, but Discount says it can.

Discount Tire is not a manufacturer. Above is direct from Nitto USA. A 315 is essentially a 12.5 (actually 12.7), ideal rim size is 10, minimum is 8.5. The 8.0 on the top line is likely to excuse some OEM fitment that was forced on them.
