my only concern with the degreez system, is that the peltier effect of the heating/cooling element won't be as good as the heating of their carbon fiber heater pad. Wonder if a local dealer actually has a "demo seat" you can sit on and try out.
I installed this in my jeep with cloth seats and I can tell you it works really well. It's a bitch to install because it's not made for a jeep seat especially with the factory cloth but I made it work and it works really well

yeah?! so you now have cooled cloth seats? we read/heard that there are airbag sensors somewhere in the seat and that's why the katzkin dealers wont install them.

Cooled and heated. The airbag sensor was easy to work around. I had to cut a hole in a metal frame part in the bottom of the seat and also cut the pads down to size so they would fit with the jeep factory seat cloth. It's definitely doable but I can see why a store wouldn't want to touch this install.

was there a metal "pan" under the seat cusion that you had to cut into? is that pan the "frame part" you described?

Interesting tidbit about seats. I ordered the Overland HA with leather seats, apparently an upgrade version with another package. One line on the spec sheet said “#1 Foam Seats”. I asked the dealer what this meant and they said the foam has varying grades based on the seat model.
Can’t say what this means exactly, but assume there are at least several grades and constructs of foam from FC.
So as promised here is the follow-up on the seats. Definite difference in the firmness of the foam labelled #1 foam, and seats that are not. The support is similar to a firm foam mattress, and the regular seats are much softer. I like the firm support, maybe not everyone does.

Why is the black plastic piece present on the back of the front seat in black/gray and not present on the red one? Is it a difference of the model or package?
Rubicon has the MOLLE panel on the back of the front seats.

Thanks. I checked and the Mojave has it too. Looks quite solid.
Sorry, yes; should have mentioned that. I only mentioned the Rubicon since that was the grey-leather poster's model.

I got the interior done on my wife’s JL with Katzkin leathers. It’s amazing quality and it was nice to have that new leather smell while it lasted lol :)

What kind of headliner is that? I'm wanting to make my own.

Edit: I think I figured it out. Mesh across the bars?
