Am I crazy......or should I just buy them? Dick Cepek Trail Country Tires

Saw this on E-bay this morning..... This tire in this size usually goes somewhere in the low to mid $200 range
Here we got 4 of them for under $400 !! And before you ask...."YES" …...they are "New" (according to the ad) Ad says....
4 lots available(4 items per lot) I'm a firm believer in you kinda get what you pay for.....BUT the seller has over 14,000 transactions, and a 99.4% positive rating

What's your thoughts guy's ??

Why do I get the feeling that the guy is gonna come up with some excuse WHY he can't sell them at that price.....or that he "made a mistake...the shipping to (wherever I am) is $125 per tire......or SOMETHING ?? I just get the feeling that I'm gonna get screwed....

Where in Delaware are you Matt ? We'll be moving to the Lewes/Rehoboth area soon for NJ. Whats the info on lifted vehicles and tires that stick out past your flares ? Is that a problem in DE ?

You have a screen-shot for proof... And if he tries some shit, report him to eBay with your photographic evidence. Simple as that. And if you use PayPal, then you have even more buyer protection.

I buy lots of stuff off eBay and Amazon, and had to send stuff back, but never had anyone try to scam me. I try to use good judgement. So far, so good. I’ve bought “for parts-only” $350 Shimano reels for $65 and fixed them 100% with $5.00 worth parts from Shimano. Sometimes amazing deals just happen.

Exactly. Have him provide the tire manuf. date. It is identified in the serial number of the tire.

I live in Smyrna, just north of Dover.

Really depends on who you get at inspection. Typically they dont worry about tires sticking out as long as theyre not WAY out. Theres also a great jeep community that will usually let you borrow some tires to get through inspection. Ive never been pulled over for wheels sticking out and/or no doors, like others have. DE troopers are usually more focused on your speed and limo tint than the little things with jeeps. Though I have heard of trucks with crazy lifts, as in 9+inches, being stopped. But thats just stories, none that ive ever seen. you'll love DE! small state but the beech towns are amazing, and there are plenty of amazing parks for sure. If you need a hand with the jeep pm me and ill share my #. I wont turn down trying to help out,

No, I did not......I called the guy…..he said E-Bay called him and stated that they (E-Bay) had a security breach......He also told me thanks for calling and checking first before placing the order.....he said he's got OVER 150 people to call and try to explain to them they aren't getting tires.....not for those prices anyway ! Further proof that "If it sound's too good to be true...…..it probably is !
