  1. Where are they

Other than my JTR, and my buddy and his wife's Gator JTR up the road, I've only seen a black JTR, and a white JTR regularly around here. I've seen a few Sport models passing through on the roads, but so far only 4 locally that I see regularly (mine, his, and the other 2). And out of ALL of...
  2. Howdy!

Do you finally understand what this Jeep thing is all about now? You can ride in a convertible car, or a boat, or whatever...Even riding in someone else's Jeep with the top off, but it's just not quite the same as driving your own Jeep with the top off. That's when it finally hit me. :like:
  3. Why did you/didn’t you lift your JT?

Drive more of them... You'll believe me then...Or maybe not. I honestly don't give a shit either way. Just saying, there's a lot more than just 1 lifted JT out there, and a lot more parts options out there than what that one had on it. And not every one of them was put together by skilled...
  4. 37″ vs 35″ Tires Side-by-Side Comparison Look

We have a whole thread somewhere in this section with a list of what 37's have been tested and what will and won't fit under the bed...
  5. Mud Terrain or All Terrain?

I run the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 tires. I really like them. If you don't like directional tires, they now have a brand new MT tire called the MT71 that they offer in several 17" wheel sizes, including 35x12.50r17, that might interest you. Give @Discount Tire a shout here on the forum...
  6. 37″ vs 35″ Tires Side-by-Side Comparison Look

I honestly have no idea. I didn't even think to take a picture of the collapsed side to see how close to the bump stops I was. Next time I do that, I will. But, if they did, those tires don't have a super aggressive sidewall, so I don't think it would have really messed anything up if they...
  7. Why did you/didn’t you lift your JT?

Two totally different animals. Also, the JK's had known handling problems. Mine got exponentially better after lifting with wider tires & wheels, than it was stock. Maybe it's a fluke, but plenty of others on here have reported the same thing. I think the JT is too long to have that narrow...
  8. Most Hideous Gladiators and Wrangler..... EVER?

It's actually called "Cali style"... Always has been. But with the Cali-style, it's typically got the ass-end squatting low like a prison bitch open for business.
  9. Payload seems a little low...

I guess the truth hurts some folks... :like:
  10. Payload seems a little low...

They CLAIM it's because of the added "weight" of the Rubicon accessories...Which I think is total load of bullshit, same with the tow rating difference. I'd say they're both fine at 7,650. My guess is they rated them differently for marketing, because you can't call something Max Tow, if the...
  11. Metalcloak Rock Krawler Hybrid

I plan on eventually doing the same with my Evo Enforcer 2.5" Stage II Plus lift. Adding the RK Pro-X triangulated 4-link rear setup to it.
  12. Knock after lift kit install

Check and tighten everything up, and be sure to use a torque-wrench on things that recommend/require a torque-wrench in the instructions.
  13. Show me stubby bumpers options with skid plate

The Fab Fours Stubby is only like $20 difference between bare-metal and powder coated.
  14. Vehicle FAIL Thread

Can you imagine what that frame looks like... I bet it's riddled with half-ass bubble-gum welds and rusted-out spots... I bet it looks like a WWII shipwreck under there...
  15. Payload seems a little low...

Actually the Rubicon and Max Tow have higher payload and tow numbers than all the other models. Rubicon is 7,000 lbs. tow, Max Tow is 7,650. And if you order the Rubicon with the factory Class-IV Tow Package, you get the heavy-duty engine cooling that the Max Tow has.
  16. Payload seems a little low...

Then I’d go Rubicon, and then install a set of Max Tow rear springs, and toss a set of 1.5” front coil spacers under it, and some 35x12.50r17 Kumho Road Venture MT71 tires on your stock Rubicon wheels, and call it good. :like: @Discount Tire is a forum sponsor here. They can get you a good...
  17. Payload seems a little low...

You can just buy a Rubicon and put Max Tow rear springs in it, and then you have lockers, and Rubicon options, and Max Tow payload and progressive rear springs for towing or handling weight. The Rubicon front spring swap, and Rubicon Fox shocks swap is very common for people to do to Max Tow...
  18. Music in your Gladiator

RIP... Never would have figured the way Steve partied that he would outlive his son... The cause of death has not been revealed. This typically means that it was either something self-inflicted (on purpose or accidental), or something embarrassing like David Carradine.
  19. Which Steering Stabilizer is the one to get

The only difference is one is adjustable and the other isn't. I have the TS 2.0, and love it. No regrets not getting the ATS. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFGHMB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  20. 35" Factory Tire Package -- when?

If Jeep's smart, they'll also offer a Hemi V8 option, or a twin-turbo setup like that Maserati version of our motor that has like 400/400 output. Which could EASILY be upgraded to better turbos (ball-bearings, larger housings and wheels, etc...) and bigger injectors later for more power.
